The installation box for the cloakroom basin brings water and waste ready into the wall, for example in a guest WC: a slim XPS insulating body with the pipe foamed in, wall-plate elbows and a DN 50 trap bend. SANOOX makes it in 22 versions for masonry and drywall, for 31 pipe systems.

What is an installation box for the cloakroom basin?

A factory-piped XPS insulating body that brings the water connection and waste for the cloakroom basin ready into the wall. SANOOX makes it in 22 versions for masonry and drywall.

Is the box available for cold water only?

Yes. For cold water only there are versions with one wall-plate elbow, for hot and cold water with two, 80 mm apart. SANOOX offers both for masonry and drywall.

Which drain layout is prepared in the Cloakroom basin installation box?

Ein trap bend DN 50, matched to the drainage programme on site: Geberit Silent PP, Pipelife Master 3 or Polokal PK. The programme is the last digit of the article number.

Do the pipes come from below or above?

The short boxes and the mounting elements are available with pipe routing at the bottom or top, the long masonry boxes with pipe routing at the bottom.

How is the box fixed in drywall?

With side fixing rails between the studs; the short boxes on request also with the cloakroom basin cross brace (option 00193). The 1000 mm high mounting elements come with U-rails, a multi-ply board or both.

What pipe size does the Cloakroom basin installation box use?

16 or 20 mm, depending on the variant; with Roth pipe 17 instead of 16 mm. PP pipe (Aquatec, Harreither and Kelit Kelen) is available in 20 or 25 mm.

How is the article number structured?

It is built from Box, Pipe system, Dimension and Drainage programme. Example M03.1040.22.16.1: Box M03.1040 (Hand-wash basin, short, Masonry), Pipe system 22 (Viega Raxofix), 16 mm, Drainage programme 1 (Geberit Silent PP). The configurator shows the finished number.

Slim boxes for masonry

The masonry boxes are 170 mm wide for hot and cold water and 140 mm wide for cold water only; 290 mm high in the short version, 600 mm in the long version, 70 mm deep.

Each is available with option 00199: 50 mm box depth and DN 40 waste.

Cloakroom basin connection in drywall

There are 16 versions for the stud wall. The short boxes are 350 mm wide, sit with side fixing rails between the studs and take the cloakroom basin cross brace on request (option 00193).

The mounting elements are 400 mm wide and 650 or 1000 mm high; the 1000 mm high ones are available with U-rails, a multi-ply board or both.
