The installation box for the frost-proof outdoor tap brings the outdoor tap into the exterior wall ready-piped: an XPS insulating body with the pipe foamed in and pipe routing to the bottom. SANOOX makes it in 5 versions for masonry, with a built-in Kemper Frosti Plus or as a mounting box, for 31 pipe systems.

What is an installation box for the frost-proof tap?

A factory-piped XPS insulating body for the outdoor tap in a masonry wall. SANOOX makes it in 5 versions: with a built-in Kemper Frosti Plus or as a mounting box with a looped-through line.

How does a frost-proof outdoor tap work?

The valve does not sit at the spout but deeper in the wall, in the frost-free zone. When the tap is closed, the water between the valve and the spout drains away, so nothing can freeze there.

Which frost-proof tap is built in?

In the boxes with a fitting, a Kemper Frosti Plus, depending on the box the 57800 or the 57805 XL; the dimension table shows it per box. For other fittings please ask SANOOX.

How big is the box?

With a fitting 180 × 290 × 70 mm, the mounting box 110 × 290 × 70 mm (width × height × depth).

Is the line insulated to the pipe end?

Yes, with option 00198 (insulation to the pipe end), on all versions.

What pipe size does the Frost-proof tap installation box use?

16 or 20 mm, depending on the variant; with Roth pipe 17 instead of 16 mm. PP pipe (Aquatec, Harreither and Kelit Kelen) is available only in 20 mm.

How is the article number structured?

It is built from Box, Pipe system and Dimension. Example M13.1650.22.16: Box M13.1650 (Montagebox, Massivbau), Pipe system 22 (Viega Raxofix), 16 mm. The configurator shows the finished number.

Where do I order the Frost-proof tap installation box?

Through your plumbing and heating merchant, using the full article number; SANOOX does not supply end customers. Build project lists in the configurator and send them to SANOOX as an enquiry.

With a built-in Kemper Frosti Plus

The boxes with a fitting measure 180 × 290 × 70 mm and come with a built-in Kemper Frosti Plus 57800 or 57805 XL. The dimension table shows which fitting is in which box.

Mounting box with a looped-through line

The mounting box measures 110 × 290 × 70 mm. It has a wall-plate elbow, the line runs through the box and exits again at the bottom. For 16 mm pipe it is called M13.1650, for 20 mm M13.1660.
