Water meter installation box with a concealed valve for shut-off.

The installation box for water meter and apartment shut-off brings the concealed valve into the wall ready-piped, depending on the version together with one or two water meters: an XPS insulating body with the pipe foamed in. SANOOX makes it in 18 versions for masonry and drywall, for 31 pipe systems in 20 mm.

What is an installation box for the apartment shut-off?

A factory-piped XPS insulating body with a built-in ½″ concealed valve that brings the apartment's shut-off ready into the wall. SANOOX makes it in 18 versions for masonry and drywall, with one or two valves.

Is the box available with a water meter?

Yes, with one or two meters, each together with one or two ½″ concealed valves, for masonry and drywall.

What is the connection size of the concealed valve?

½″, on all boxes for apartment shut-off and meter.

What do continuous or bottom pipe routing mean?

Continuous: the line enters the box from the top and continues at the bottom. Bottom: the inlet and outlet both leave the box at the bottom.

How deep is the box, and which option is there?

70 mm. As an option, insulation to the pipe end (00198) is available for all boxes.

What pipe size does the Apartment shut-off installation box use?

20 mm. PP pipe (Aquatec, Harreither and Kelit Kelen) is available only in 25 mm.

How is the article number structured?

It is built from Box, Pipe system and Dimension. Example M10.1500.22.20: Box M10.1500 (Wohnungsabsperrung, Rohrführung unten, Massivbau), Pipe system 22 (Viega Raxofix), 20 mm. The configurator shows the finished number.

Where do I order the Apartment shut-off installation box?

Through your plumbing and heating merchant, using the full article number; SANOOX does not supply end customers. Build project lists in the configurator and send them to SANOOX as an enquiry.

Apartment shut-off with one or two concealed valves

The boxes for the apartment shut-off have one or two ½″ concealed valves. In masonry they are 110 to 350 mm wide and 290 mm high, in drywall 350 × 290 mm.

With continuous pipe routing the line comes from the top and continues at the bottom. With bottom pipe routing the inlet and outlet both go down.

Shut-off and water meter in one box

The meter boxes combine one or two ½″ concealed valves with one or two meters. In masonry they are 400 mm high, in drywall 350 × 400 mm, with two meters 350 × 330 mm. The drawing on the data sheet of each box shows where the valve and meter sit.

In drywall all boxes sit with side fixing rails between the studs.
