Basin installation box hot, cold and waste from the factory.

The installation box for the basin brings cold water, hot water and the waste into the wall ready-piped: an XPS insulating body with the pipe foamed in, wall-plate elbows and a trap bend or concealed trap. SANOOX makes it in 58 versions for masonry and drywall, for 31 pipe systems.

What is the spacing between hot and cold water in the box?

80, 153 or 270 mm, depending on the waste: 80 mm with a trap bend or concealed valves, 153 mm with the concealed trap HL 134, 270 mm with HL 4000 or Geberit 151125. Boxes with a concealed valve body have no wall-plate elbows.

Which drain layout is prepared in the Basin installation box?

Ein trap bend DN 50, matched to the drainage programme on site: Geberit Silent PP, Pipelife Master 3 or Polokal PK. The programme is the last digit of the article number. There are also boxes with a built-in Concealed trap HL 134, HL 4000 or Geberit 151125, drain DN 40 or 50; the article number shows the trap instead of the programme.

How deep is the basin installation box?

70 mm, 80 mm with the concealed trap HL 4000 and 90 mm with Geberit 151125. For five masonry boxes, option 00199 offers a 50 mm box depth with DN 40 waste.

How is the box fixed in drywall?

With side fixing rails between the studs; for the 350 mm wide boxes, the basin cross brace is also available (option 00194). The basin mounting element comes with U-rails, on request with a multi-ply board.

Which box suits a countertop or vessel basin?

A box from the dedicated countertop basin category. There the waste runs via an 87.5° bend, centred, left, right or height-adjustable.

What pipe size does the Basin installation box use?

16 or 20 mm, depending on the variant; with Roth pipe 17 instead of 16 mm. PP pipe (Aquatec, Harreither and Kelit Kelen) is available in 20 or 25 mm. Not every box shape comes in every size; the dimension table shows what applies to each box.

How is the article number structured?

It is built from Box, Pipe system, Dimension and Drainage programme. Example M01.1000.22.16.1: Box M01.1000 (Washbasin, short, Masonry), Pipe system 22 (Viega Raxofix), 16 mm, Drainage programme 1 (Geberit Silent PP). The configurator shows the finished number.

Where do I order the Basin installation box?

Through your plumbing and heating merchant, using the full article number; SANOOX does not supply end customers. Build project lists in the configurator and send them to SANOOX as an enquiry.

Spacing of the wall-plate elbows: 80, 153 or 270 mm

How far apart the hot and cold water sit depends on the waste. With a trap bend and on the boxes with concealed valves it is 80 mm, 153 mm with the concealed trap HL 134, 270 mm with HL 4000 or Geberit 151125.

The values come from the catalogue drawings; the wall-plate column of the dimension table lists them per box. Boxes with a concealed valve body have no wall-plate elbows.

Basin connection in drywall

There are two versions for the stud wall. The 350 mm wide boxes sit with side fixing rails between the studs; the basin cross brace is available for them as option 00194.

The basin mounting element is 400 mm wide and 650 or 1000 mm high, in 1000 mm with U-rails or with a U-rail and a multi-ply board. Both are available with a trap bend or concealed trap.

With a concealed valve body or concealed valves

Some boxes already have the manufacturer's concealed valve body built in: Hansgrohe 1362 2180, Grohe 23571, Hansa 5786 0100 or Kludi 38243, each with the outlet on the left or right.

Boxes with two concealed valves 1/2″ are available without a meter, with one or with two meters.
