Bath installation box for bath spout and hand shower.

A bath installation box brings hot and cold water into the wall ready-piped, in most versions with the concealed valve body in place. SANOOX makes it in 80 versions for masonry and drywall, for 31 pipe systems in 16 or 20 mm.

What is a bath installation box?

A factory-piped XPS insulating body that positions hot and cold water for the bath fitting in the wall. At SANOOX it comes with a built-in concealed valve body or with wall-plate elbows for a surface-mounted fitting, in 80 versions for masonry and drywall.

Which concealed valve bodies are built in?

Hansgrohe iBox 2.0 0150, Hansgrohe iBox 0180, Grohe Smartbox 35604, Hansa Blue Box 8000 and Kludi Flexx Boxx 88011. The concealed valve body is named in the model text of each box.

Is there a box with a connection for the bath spout?

Yes, with a connection for the bath spout and hand shower: 300 × 300 mm or long 300 × 1000 mm in masonry, 350 × 290 mm in drywall, each with one of the five concealed valve bodies.

Does the box have a waste for the bath?

No. The boxes carry the water to the fitting; the bath's waste and overflow are planned separately.

Is a splash-water sleeve available?

Yes, as option 00195 for all bath boxes except those with a bath spout. For those, only insulation to the pipe end (00198) is listed as an option.

What pipe size does the Bath installation box use?

16 or 20 mm, depending on the variant; with Roth pipe 17 instead of 16 mm. PP pipe (Aquatec, Harreither and Kelit Kelen) is available in 20 or 25 mm.

How is the article number structured?

It is built from Box, Pipe system and Dimension. Example M06.0500.22.16: Box M06.0500 (Badewanne lang, ohne Unterputzkörper, Massivbau), Pipe system 22 (Viega Raxofix), 16 mm. The configurator shows the finished number.

Where do I order the Bath installation box?

Through your plumbing and heating merchant, using the full article number; SANOOX does not supply end customers. Build project lists in the configurator and send them to SANOOX as an enquiry.

Concealed valve body for the bath fitting

The bath boxes come with the concealed valve body of a fitting manufacturer, in place and piped: Hansgrohe iBox 2.0 0150, Hansgrohe iBox 0180, Grohe Smartbox 35604, Hansa Blue Box 8000 or Kludi Flexx Boxx 88011. You choose the trim to match this concealed valve body.

In addition there is a connection for the hand shower, on the right or left. A dedicated range also has a connection for the bath spout.

Without a concealed valve body

For a surface-mounted bath fitting the box is available with two wall-plate elbows: 240 × 200 mm in masonry, long 240 × 800 mm, and 350 × 200 mm in drywall. The pipes run down, and with the bottom/top pipe routing optionally up as well.
