What is a countertop basin installation box?
A factory-piped XPS box for basins that stand on the vanity top: water connections at the top, waste further down. SANOOX makes it in 7 versions for masonry and drywall.
How does it differ from the basin installation box?
The length. In masonry the countertop basin box is 1250 mm high, the wall-plate elbows sit at the top and the waste 350 or 500 mm above the lower edge. On the basin box with a trap bend, the waste sits 70 mm below the wall-plate elbows.
How far apart are hot and cold water?
153 mm, on all versions.
Which drain layout is prepared in the Countertop basin installation box?
Ein 87.5° bend DN 50, matched to the drainage programme on site: Geberit Silent PP, Pipelife Master 3 or Polokal PK. The programme is the last digit of the article number.
How deep is the countertop basin installation box?
70 mm. The masonry boxes are also available 50 mm deep with option 00199, with DN 40 waste.
What pipe size does the Countertop basin installation box use?
16 or 20 mm, depending on the variant; with Roth pipe 17 instead of 16 mm. PP pipe (Aquatec, Harreither and Kelit Kelen) is available in 20 or 25 mm.
How is the article number structured?

Waste at 350 or 500 mm
The long masonry boxes measure 240 × 1250 mm. The wall-plate elbows sit 50 mm below the top edge, 153 mm apart. The waste is 500 mm above the lower edge of the box, centred, or 350 mm, centred, left or right.
With a height-adjustable waste
On these versions the connection and the waste are two parts: at the top the box with the wall-plate elbows, below it a separate waste part, joined by the pipes. They are available for masonry, 240 mm wide, and for drywall, 500 mm wide.
The drywall box sits with side fixing rails between the studs; the multi-ply board is available as an option (00191).
